| My acoustic guitar signal is sent via a snake to this rack after it leaves the pedal board. I run its signal into the TC Electronics Parametric EQ and then to the Rocktron Intellifex. The signal is split into stereo at that point and is sent to the 2 direct boxes. The bottom half of this rack is dedicated to my "Tele" signal. I run it directly into the Line 6 Pod. In the past I have always been a fan of "real" amps, but I believe this unit is really great for running your signal direct (and also in front of the amp input). In fact, I have been very impressed with the results my friend Lou Toomey is getting in the studio with his. I have been fooled more than once into thinking he was using one of his vintage amps. Danny Groah uses his before his 2 Fender amps and gets great results. The pod is the only signal processing my Tele signal gets. |
